Tom Betts, aka Nullpointer, is developer and performer of projects like Audiopool (a selfsequencing pool of sounds and the representation of those sounds in 2d space), Dividebyzero (a self generating experimental website), FSKN and QQQ (experimental game mods) and Webtracer.

Webtracer is a browser that provides an alternative visualization of the WWWeb that is focused less on the surface contents than on the structure and links between web sites. While the purpose of the softwares analyzing a web site structure is to verify its integrity, Webtracer aims at giving a visual representation of the hypertextual structure itself - which is represented as 3-dimensional diagram where pages are nodes (atoms) and the links are the strings (atomic forces) that bind the links together.

Webtracer has been conceived as an interactive visual tool that allows the user to analyze on-line information structures, recognizing the intentions and the principles that lay behind the creation of a web site and - on a larger scale - behind local configurations of the Web itself.
