THE YESMEN
http://www.theyesmen.org

The Yes Men are a self defined group of impostors continuously searching the opportunity to infiltrate the world of planetary capitalism.

« Although their name contains the word "Men," it doesn't describe who they are, it describes what they do: they use any means necessary to agree their way into the fortified compounds of commerce, ask questions, and then smuggle out the stories of their undercover escapades to provide a public glimpse at the behind-the-scenes world of business. » (da http://theyesmen.org)

The group often hits the headlines (e.g. the New York Times devoted a whole page and several articles to them) thanks to their extraordinary ability to intervene in corporate events pretending to be WTO representatives: they give public or private speeches driving to surreal extremes the inner logic of world globalized markets. Needless to say, the whole story began on the Internet, where the group manages a Web site almost identical to the World Trade Organization's one.

Unexpectedly the identity change remains unnoticed and - given the open hearted "Yes!" the Yes Men say to ongoing globalization - the Yes Men's innovative ideas get surprisingly appreciated by audiences world wide.
