mirko uhlig & dronæment – farewell fields (nextera)

do u remember labradfor? one of first ambient post rock veterans.. also do u remember pan american? yes, we will have to hover around kranky label and that ambient side of post rock sound that was relevant let say 10 years ago. farewell fields seems to be split release between two artists mirko uhlig & dronæment and they each have one longer track on this release. so the sound on these tracks is around that ambient post rock, drone, soundscape milieu. while on the first track para puri by mirko uhlig there are some floating guitars and minor glitches, on the second one fields (live) by dronæment u can find more pan american like slow and long guitar drones and moaning voices. as it is stated on the site, the main motto of the label is ‘next generation ambient’, so when u hear this album you can totally trust to this slogan.
