i was travelling with my girlfriend to ohrid (famous touristic place here in macedonia) for a weekend. i took large pile of cds to listen to in the car. some older and mostly new promos that i haven’t heard before. most of the stuff that i played was experimental albums that she found as disturbing. so i was changing the cds after couple of tracks. and this one was one of those that we heard it whole. floriana vs. màcro is duo consisted of joerg schuster and “very nice guy from madrid”. of course we still dont know who this nice guy is. but that’s another story. lets get back to the album. the album is first release on fresh dalaki label that is interested in deep electronics and electro-acoustic music, deep ambient, deep dark jazz, deep slow dub and unusual blends between them or expressed in one formula: dalaki = (electronica x deep tech ± (glitch ÷ jazz) / (ambient x experimental) ± art). hm.. seems nice. and if u hear the album it is calculated something around this formula. deep dubby electronics + dubby ambient techno + glitchy soundscapes x gentle floating ambient chords + field recordings + static noise… and here we are. we’ll get heleylah sunset- one of freshest releases heard recently. also one of main ideas behind dalaki label is to release more than music, so this release is something like a box set that also contains booklet, buttons, stickers, stencil, photocards, download link with hidden track and a hidden message! if someone gave u better offer that this one please call me on +389 70 643887.
