bio:

normal music was hatched by killing 2 stones with one bird. comprised of three people each with their own projects: dead letters spell out dead words (thomas ekelund of fukk god lets create fame), violet (jeff surak of zeromoon and many other projects) and new comer rafael irisarry (the musique concrete ensemble), normal music formed when they decided to combine their then on going collaborations with each other into one group. the initial idea was to take concrete sounds and drones and add beats to mix to create a form of "commercial" or "normal" music. the trio utilizes all sorts of instruments from traditional to constructed to arrive to a form of minimal glitch music with atmospheric drones interrupted by field recordings. the group worked mainly through the mails and telephone and did one tour of the usa along with andreas tilliander in april 2004.
