va – epitome (klitekture)

klitekture is a label that comes from spain and its name is composed combining three different concepts: kliks, techno, architecture/structure. where klik stands for the sound of clicks, crackles, glitches and forced errors, techno: main beat influence to produce experimental danceable minimalism and architecture/structure: innovation in programming structures and sound architecture. knowing this you can get an idea about its sound. techno minimalism and contemporary dance production in sense of artists like: deadbeat, sutekh, lod, tomas jirku… and all of these artists are already signed under this label. this release is a compilation that explores and presents klitekture’s vision of today’s music and future sound. a sound that they have treated till now and will continue in the next releases. so here they present 5 different works that bring some fresh air into the label and show that klitekture is a label open to new sounds, styles and approaches. andreas tilliander aka lowfour here offers a completely danceable track, despite the fact he is better known for his clicks n cuts minimalism. the owner of klitekture lod is very close to this approach of danceable clicks n cuts minimalism but with a minimal techno rhythm and tomas jirku is consistent to his dark and deep sound this time noisier. johan skuge (we know him from label mitek) is still into his recognizable dub influenced techy-house. and pep gaya offers two tracks. the first one is more danceable than their previous klitekture stuff, despite being deep and experimental, and the second one also appears on their previous klitekture single showing their ambiental work. at the end klitekture with this compilation show their contemporary approach and intention to contemporary minimalistic sound including all attributes: clicks, techno and structure.
