As of November 2011 I am a licensed radio amateur using the call sign OE6THF.
In october 2008 I went back to Graz University of Technology to study Computer Science. My plan is to finish the Bachelor's Programme in a reasonable time frame.
Recently I ran across a quote by Theo Jansen: "The walls between art and engineering exist only in our minds." who makes these marvelous strandbeests.
Although I do not consider myself to be the greatest expert in the computer and/or science field I do manage to solve problems quite well. Once I focus on something I will not give up very easily until I find a solution that seems apropriate. Which leads to another feature, my perfectionism. Take these two things into consideration and you will see why the list of projects I started but never finished is a lot longer than the list of (somehow) finished things.
When I have time, feel strong enough and have my mind not too ocupied with other things, when the weather is right and I'm not too lazy, then and only then I do enjoy paragliding. I would love to go a lot more often than I do but there are too many factors involved. So I stick to reading, watching TV (rather DVDs to be more precise) or thinking about new things to do.
Ever since I was a kid I loved cartoons. One of my current favorites ist UserFriendly, probably because it's so realistic ;) Besides the daily cartoon I also recommend the link of the day. Another cool cartoon that I frequently enjoy is XKCD.
